Currently, councillors from our town are represented on the boards of the conservation authorities that affect our area.

In making changes to consolidate conversation authorities, I believe that it is important to have continued local representation on the relevant board(s) to ensure that there is appropriate governance and oversight.

Also, as a local taxpayer, I am concerned that there could be significant additional costs due to rebranding of the many signs, vehicles, etc. I would ask that specific actions be taken to limit the amount of funds that are spent simply on rebranding. For example, don't repaint vehicles that are marked CVC, and simply wait until those vehicles are replaced.
