While I appreciate that government taking steps to protect our economy and sovereignty . It should not come at the expense of local input and decision making. Our government needs to be held accountable to its voting taxpayer base and we require full transparency and a seat at the table . Our environment is not an afterthought it often times seems at odds with rhe push to expand / build faster / high density etc .... at the very least all of these local entities that managed Nd kbkw te watershed along with any first nations whose land we are all on require equal input and sat into any decision making- period . We need and require a need way to govern and be held accountable and to uphold transparency. Old systems are flawed time for change .
