This is an atrocious change that will hamstring the ability of conservation authorities to respond to issues and execute their mandates. The fact it is being brought up by the same government that has repeatedly tried to gut the greenbelt and bypass environmental assessments for infrastructure projects reeks of corruption and racketeering. Doug Ford should be investigated for his multitude of ethical breaches immediately.
