Strongly against this change, this will cause an extreme administrative burden, lose critical environmental context each individual authority brings to its region, and severely underrepresent communities and municipalities that are covered by the current conservation authority system. Our natural environment and the stewardship of the conservation is a major economic driver of this province, and this change will strip the ability to protect our natural resources, severely hamper our economic ability, and negatively impact everyone living in this province.
