I strongly oppose this consolidation. Local-level authority will be infinitely more in-tune with the community’s needs and will be more effective in preserving and caring for the environment. The environment is extremely important and has been neglected by this administration. We should be investing more resources into environmental protection, not reducing and consolidating resources. I deeply hope this does not move forward and we do not consolidate any conservation authorities.
