I am concerned that…

I am concerned that amalgamating Conservation Areas will reduce and delay local decision making regarding recreational use on Conservation lands. The example I have knowledge of is Hiawatha Highlands / Soo Nordic Ski Club in Sault Ste Marie. This local longstanding land use dates back well over 50 years and has a proven, successful model that must be carefully incorporated into amalgamation. This is no doubt an issue in other Conservation Areas and must be addressed to the the satisfaction of local interests.
