Each of the current Conservation authorities have expertise and experience in their own local service areas.
To expect that the public would have the same level of service and expertise to continue under some sort of “consolidation “ plan would be highly unlikely.
If there are ways to improve or streamline permit/approval activities, let’s pursue those while maintaining local control, expertise and knowledge within the current structure of Conservation Authorities.
