This is a terrible idea and I don't support consolidating the conservation authority boundaries. Amalgamation just results in reduced services and worse outcomes for communities. In this case, people are going to have worse experiences at conservation areas, and potentially more flooding and poor environmental outcomes for communities. I live in Quinte Conservation's region and the new proposed Easter Lake Region is way too big and not local enough. Once again, the Ontario Conservative government proposes a change that makes nobody's lives better and wastes money solving some new fake problem.
