As a resident of the City of Thunder Bay, Ontario, I am OPPOSED to the Province’s proposed amalgamation of the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority (LRCA) with six other Southern Ontario Conservation Authorities to form the “Huron-Superior Regional Conservation Authority”. I support LRCA’s recommendation that the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority form a stand-alone regional conservation authority as the “Northwestern Ontario Regional Conservation Authority”.
Northern Ontario is so far away from the other six conservation authorities. We would be neglected and never thought of.
As I pay yearly to use our conservation areas I want someone here in northern Ontario looking after them.
Please listen to the North and keep our conversation areas looked after by the North.
