My father is a military veteran and he walks all the time for his PTSD. Conservation authorities ensure he has nicely maintained trails to walk all the time. They preserve the wildlife and ensure we can enjoy the outdoors with no complications. They are truly essential for people’s mental health. We need walking trails and we need our wildlife. Not only for our mental health, but for the betterment of our planet, the animals are sentient. They are just as important as we are. We need to learn to live with the land. Conservation authorities embrace that in communities. We need conservation authorities more than we know. For mental health, community embracement and for purpose of educating people about the importance of protecting and conserving this beautiful planet we only have one chance at. We need conservation authorities today, and forever. Condensing conservation authorities will only minimize job opportunities and lower reach in terms of how much is being monitored for conservation. We will only feel the effects negatively if we choose to condense conservation authorities.
