I do not support this proposal.

Conservation authorities provide so much more for the protection of the watershed and their core mandates. Without environmental education and engaging the community there will be more harm done to the environment simply due to not knowing how what we do in our community effects our watershed.

Such a large area encompassing many different types of ecosystems cannot be managed by one large governing body. Local experts are what help conservation authorities do the best work they can. Easier permits for building on fragile ecosystem and further fragmenting the eco corridors, should not be the goal.
