I do not agree with what the province is doing to consolidate the conservation authority's I believe that this is not a thought out solution and there will be problems with the implementation.

What do you see as key factors to support a successful transition and outcome of regional conservation authority consolidation? factors I see to make a successful transition is allow the conservation authority's to choose who they amalgamate with. this will be a benefit as there are already programs and service that are shared by conservations authority's, it will both benefit the authority's and the public at the same time.

what opportunities or benefits may come from a regional conservation authority framework? I do not see many opportunities that will come from this consolidation, the current way conservations work is to benefit the municipalities that fall in the jurisdiction of the authority. With adding more municipality and only choosing a hand full of board members this will leave out rural and smaller municipalities that will have no say as to where dollars should be spent through out the conservation authority.

Do you have suggestions for how governance could be structured at the regional conservation authority level, including suggestions around board size, make-up and the municipal representative appointment process? do not procced with the consolidation as it will leave voices of the public left out since there are more people that need to be represented and over a greater distance.

Do you have suggestions on how to maintain a transparent and consultative budgeting process across member municipalities within a regional conservation authority? allow the conservation authority's to choose who they amalgamate with this will be beneficial to all. this will make it a more a local issue where the public can participate in meetings and discussions and not worry about their voices not being heard.
