While many will write in-depth comments regarding zoning and building codes, I wish to take a different approach.

Have you walked Midtown Oakville that these zoning (MZO) environmental codes will impact? Have you mindfully considered the density? Have you reflected on if you would want to reside in such an area? Would you purchase property here? Would you visit your grandchildren in this area? Would you be proud to have your name attached to such a drastic shift in this region?

I will wager that you know, deep in your soul that the plan built by the citizens of Oakville is the correct approach. Please, consider your decision is for everyone not just the developers. Our children are depending on you.
