With a condo market…

With a condo market bottoming out, building more condos to take up space is not a good fit for Oakville. We already have one condo project started that went bankrupt and is now just an empty lot with a fence around it. If one condo can't be built and filled how can we expect 11 towers to be a successful housing solution? The condos being built are tiny units wth no space and a large percentage of the people in need of housing are families who can neither fit in or afford the offerings of the condo market. I think it is sad that projects like these opposed by the people who live there are being forced on them without listening to what they have to say. I would say more thought is needed with regards to this project and whether it fits in the the needs of the community which it obviously doesn't looking at the negative response.
