I do not understand why…

I do not understand why government doesn’t get it. Our very survival depends on a healthy environment and the biodiversity it supports. Numerous species are already gravely at risk from unnecessary development and human encroachment on what little habitat they have left. They should be given even MORE protection then what they already have not less. Do not make it easier for greedy business concerns to degrade our wild spaces. Their survival is our survival.
