Open for Business is a slogan that has some merit from an economic standpoint but it will be a curse for our grandchildren certainly and probably also our children if businesses and industry are allowed to circumvent important land, watershed and wildlife protections. Would you thank your parents for being responsible for the lack of wildlife diversity (200+ species are facing extinction in Ontario alone) and the absence of habitat and watershed areas that enable all of us to lead healthy lives that include an appreciation for and access to natural environment and spaces. I would blame them for allowing any government, including the Conservative Party of Ontario, for being a part of depriving all of us and our future generations the right to enjoy a healthy and ecologically sound environment. Don't be the Party that is remembered as the destroyer of the glory that is Ontario.
