Ontario has a glaring infrastructure issue...High ways crossings and ramps..so dangerous for cyclists!

Every community needs a safe way to cross highways.. find a cheap solutionfor communities-- you will see cycling increase.

We can market and advertise till the end of time but if it doesn't feel safe people will not cycle..We need safe separate from cars infrastructure.

Can we work with railways and hydro right on ways?  So much room for trails beside trains and so much infrastructure in place --share the underpasses -bikes and trains.

It would be so great to cycle from Milton to Burlington along the railway.  Much safer than on the roads between those 2 communities!

Highways and railways OWN our cities..If we could partner with them on cycling infrastructure we would get great networks....if a train goes by every 10 minutes and take 1 minute to pass -- you still would have 9 minutes for every 10 with no train so still a pretty nice ride if you were riding along beside a train track.

What about Roll on and roll off the GO line everywhere?  taking your bike up and down to get on and off the train is annoying..and if you have a cargo bike with kids you cannot even because the bike won't fit in the elevator.

My cute grandkid commutes from TO to Burlington and they have to take a stroller and carry a car seat -- the parents used to take their bikes on the GO but with the baby its impossible.  They almost need 2 car seats and they don't have a car...a bit crazy when they also have a cargo bike.

I am excited about what this plan could mean for Cycling in ON . After a week of cycling in the Netherlands, I am convinced that if we had safe infrastructure people here would cycle as well. Just build it already--people will use it!
