Philosophical statements about building a better cycling infrastructure in Ontario only go so far. Such statements have to bepartnered with funding. There are many benefits to growing the use of cycling for transportation and recreation but none is as important as is health promotion. Lire davantage

We are greatly encouraged to see the measures that Acti. MTO needs to be more cognizant of the stated goals in Action Plan 2.0 especially at the planning stages.

Ontario has a glaring infrastructure issue...High ways crossings and ramps..so dangerous for cyclists!

To make better use of the cycling infrastructure year round, I propose that covered bikeways are built in larger cities to major destinations to promote four season cycling and continued use even in inclement weather.

My apologies, I sent my previous comment in prematurely. There was a typo in my opening sentences and I had not finished addressing the question from the ministries "Are there other important actions that Ontario should take in the next 5 years to help us meet our goals for cycling?".

I support this initiative. Many communities are  built around provincial highways so there is no chance of them becoming cycling friendly unless the provincial government is on board with making its highways cycling friendly.
