1. What kind of training is being supplemented by the MOE? Are there vendors who are preparing this training for waste generators?
2. Will RPRA work with Transport Canada to align federal and provincial shipping docs? Will physical TDG BOLs still be required to accompany all shipments? Or will the MOE and TDG Consignor agreement/statement align during this transition?
3. How will our reporting responsibilities change? I.e. will there still be deadlines to receive copies of manifests? To report changes made on manifests?
4. What are all the services that will be covered by RPRA? 90-day storage reporting? Spills response?
5. What is the cost of the service? Sign-up fee? Annual payment? Will there be a change in the cost of manifests?
6. The proposal mentions there will be changes to O. Reg 347 as well as a new Regulation for RPRA – when will these changes come into effect? How long do we have to align our company with the changes once they are rolled out?
7. How will our current HWIN information be transferred over to the new system? Will it be manual or automatic? If there are errors with the info transfer, will there be a grace period to correct such changes?
