Hello - on behalf of a Canadian retail REIT, this is a great initiative and will be useful to our organization in driving energy and greenhouse gas savings through energy efficiency. We appreciate that Green Button will be mandated to most electricity and natural gas utilities in Ontario.

In addition to the proposal, we would like the Province of Ontario to consider mandating easy third-party access to Green Button data/API connection. As a REIT we would find many benefits to a simple process for third parties. Including providing consultants with easy Green Button access, and obtaining tenant data so we can work with our tenants in driving energy efficiency within their space.
