A mussel loader season in management unit 45 is a welcome addition. Adding the extra rifle season for the weekend will give new young hunters a second weekend hunting opportunity with their mentors allowing them to hunt without missing school. Adding archery prior to the rifle season will allow rifle hunters to go directly from archery to rifle without needing to leave their camps. The changes all appear to improve hunting opportunities in Management unit 45 without serious impact to the resource. Any changes that help increase hunting opportunities are welcome additions to our hunting traditions.
