Ontario needs to preserve…

Ontario needs to preserve all the green space space we can.

This proposal will result in a net reduction in green space in Ontario. The lands proposed to be added to the Greenbelt to account for those removed are in fact already protected spaces. The net result of this proposal will be a huge reduction in protected farm and conservation lands. This proposal will destroy carbon sinks, will increase traffic and congestion across the GTA, and will increase the province's reliance on automobiles.

I implore the Minister and the Premier to protect the Greenbelt as they promised they would during their campaign.
