Leave the Greenbelt alone or…

Leave the Greenbelt alone or our food prices are going to increase more in the future plus it will speed up climate change and the effects of that will be felt around the world as well as Ontario. It should continue to be protected land for many environmental reasons and it shouldn’t be used to develop homes when there’s land elsewhere where buildings, both apartment style and houses, can be built to help solve the housing crisis.

Another reason that the Greenbelt shouldn’t be developed is because Doug Ford promised that it would be left untouched which probably was just said to get him elected. Politicians should honour their promises at all times but especially when it involves a beloved piece of land and environmental issues, especially at this point in time when mankind and the world appear to be headed towards the end.
