The greenbelt is a protected space for a reason and should not be developed. A strong province means that we have the ability to feed ourselves to some extent and building over top of Agricultural land destroys that.
I have been a conservative voter in the 2011, 2014, and 2018 elections but that changed this past election where I voted for the NDP. My prime reason being that the Ford government repeatedly makes these types of decisions in the interest of big businesses that negatively impact the other citizens of Ontario, while speaking out of the side of their mouth about how it is good for us. I won't vote conservative again until Ford is no longer in the running and I see a decrease in what appears to be corruption from that party.
