I oppose this. It is an unreasonable usurpation of local municipal authority. It was not part of the election campaign of the current government, but instead is being sprung on people with essentially no opportunity to alter or reject it. The alleged "housing crisis" is a concoction of the government. There is an AFFORDABLE housing crisis. There is no shortage of houses. The legislation appears to have been written by developers and land speculators who are being rewarded for donations to the Progressive Conservative Party. This appears to be rank corruption. The premier and those who are doing this should be investigated and punished.
