I find this decision to be ill informed and a huge step backwards. I see no evidence that this will benefit anyone other than the heavy polluters. Ontario has the all the resources required to be both environmentally responsible and economically strong. We had a working cap and trade system and now we have nothing. We were building green energy sources and encouraging Ontario residents to invest in energy efficient products for their homes. Now we have nothing.

Just the fact that this act has provisions to limit legal action against the province is telling, and it is disingenuous to the voters to assume that they can't see for themselves this irresponsible action for what it is; Pandering to a very small segment of our population.
