This is so transparently about making Ford’s campaign donors rich it’s almost funny. We need farmland and we need AFFORDABLE housing - not more suburbia and sprawl. Make Ontario a democracy again and listen to the people. No one wants this except building developers who stand to get richer building McMansions on valuable land. Everyone else will pay through increasing housing costs and/or increased property taxes resulting from less revenue for municipalities via developer fees. Leave the GREENBELT alone!
