I strongly reject the proposal to administer new licences, and/or the transfer of licence that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry for train and trial areas in Ontario.
It's disturbing and inhumane to take wildlife from they're natural environment for the sole purpose to train dogs to hunt them. Those animals would be subject to cruel situations, and be held captive until that sad fate is enacted, we cannot be accepting of this inhumane practice.
Opening applications for train and trial spaces after 25 years is a massive step backward into the past. These facilities have no place in Ontario.
Instead of opening new applications, the province’s existing 24 facilities need to be closed immediately.
