I am surprised that this proposal is under consideration. I was completely unaware that these facilities exist in Ontario and cannot understand how they can continue let alone be allowed to increase in number. Ontario considers itself to be a modern and enlightened jurisdiction and yet proposes to facilitate an activity that belongs to some sort of medieval times. This is a cruel and inhumane practice.
I am a dog person myself and have friends who hunt and use dogs to do so. We find many ways to train those dogs without resorting to such inhumane methods. Please do not allow this to happen.
