Please do not proceed with this proposal. In fact, the provincial government should be cracking down on illegal "training and trialing" of dogs as stated in the government's concerns, not finding ways to allow more legal methods. In my opinion, the existing licenses should be revoked. It is cruel to the trapped wildlife and it is the responsibility of the province to protect its wildlife and to prevent unethical and illegal actions. I was very concerned to read some of the practices that go on even in the legal frameworks of the "sport." This is 2023 and we need to do better and not support sport hunting.
