This legislation is a huge step backwards. It is inhumane treatment of the wildlife of our province and encourages dogs to become dangerous. It is not so far from bear baiting or dog fighting. Not only should the legislation not be passed to allow more sites but the sites that exist should be closed down. Research shows that killing and culling of coyotes does nothing to reduce their numbers in the long term.
