No. This regressive and barbaric practice has no place in our society and needs to come to an end. This is government sanctioned cruelty, plain and simple; dragging grotesque and sadistic practices from a time long past into the present. Torturing wild animals for sport or personal gain should be anathema in a society that makes any claim to decency, morality, dignity and justice. To expand licensing for the gain and amusement of vanishingly small special interest group is not in the interest of Ontarians. Ontario should not allow the expansion of this abominable practice and should take steps to bring it to an end once and for all by making it illegal.
