I am against the expansion…

I am against the expansion of the existing waste processing site at 29831 Irish School Road in Dresden Ontario. This location is only approximately 1 km from the town of Dresden. I fell this is too close to the town of Dresden and that the expansion should not be allowed.
Also I believe the surrounding farms and homes will be detrimentally affected and their value will be diminished. No one wants to live by a landfill and the homes will be impossible to sell.
With the amount of waste coming into the proposed landfill (an estimated 7000 tonnes per day), the traffic going through the small town of Dresden will be will be huge. The amount of trucks going though the town with a Public School and a High School along the route would just be dangerous. Our little town cannot handle this amount of traffic.
When I asked York 1, during a town information meeting on March 1-2024, what they were planning to do with the two other farms they had just purchased as well, they could not give me an answer. I fear that this company is being very secretive and if you allow this expansion, it will only lead to an even larger landfill.
Please don't turn our Christmas town of Dresden into a busy, odorous, unsafe environment for our children.
