This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 9650-A8RLS3 for Martinrea Automotive Inc., operating as Atlas Fluid Systems, a facility that manufactures power steering, transmission, brake and fuel lines, located Brampton, Ontario.

This proposal includes all emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that exhaust to the atmosphere including metal cutting, heat shrinking, welding and brazing, tube forming, end forming, and crimping including the equipment and any other ancillary and support processes and activities.

Emissions to the atmosphere from this facility include:

• aluminum
• manganese
• silicon
• copper
• phosphorus, and
• particulate matter

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
