Backing out of cap-and-trade is a short-sighted and regressive act of denial. The evidence for the environmental and economic benefit of cap-and-trade is clear and convincing. Backing out with nothing but a political rationale is hostile to good sense, to the electorate, and to the environment.

I am going to keep this brief. I oppose the cancellation of the cap and trade. More needs to be done to prevent further harm to our planet. So far the PC Government has not proven to be capable.
