It is crucial that the government protect our green spaces and water and not open them up to business concerns. There are plenty of places and spaces for business that do not threaten protections of all that sustains our province, country , world.

I implore the government to stop Bill 66. This bill stands to eliminate environmental protections which keep our drinking water safe, harmful pollutants out of lakes and limits industrial sprawl in the Greenbelt. The Greenbelt is home for farmland, forests, watersheds and wetlands. Lire davantage

10 Reasons to reconsider Bill 66 1) This proposed Bill 66, appears to be in conflict with provincially required and approved municipal official plans and zoning bylaws that would be subject to change, by creating jobs on lands potentially inappropriate for the land use and/or the community. There is nothing more precious or important than clean drinking water. The Clean Water Act was introduced in 2006 as a response to the Walkerton Tragedy, when contamination of a drinking water source by E.coli resulted in 7 deaths and thousands falling ill in Walkerton, Ontario. Lire davantage

I am fully opposed to Bill 66. I believe that the repercussions of opening up the green belt are far too dire mainly due to environmental reasons. But not only environmental, we want to build compact and complete communities and avoid sprawl. This will lead to more traffic. No one likes traffic!!! Lire davantage

We do not support the Conservative Provincial Party proceeding with Bill 66. At a time when climate change is becoming increasingly obvious in our world, we ALL need to take steps to protect our drinking water, natural resources and agricultural treasures. Once gone - gone forever.
