The biomass industry is not a solution to climate change when it involves cutting down trees to produce the wood pellets, as the Ontario wood pellet industry is doing. You might as well be burning coal. Deforestation is a significant cause of climate warming. Lire davantage

Cutting down mature trees that have stood in some cases for hundreds of years in anywhere in the world is an abomination.....when the forests go, so do we.....especially like the Amazon forest....if we don't have air to breathe, we are done.....

We need strong, vibrant & diverse forests & woodlands in order to have any chance at all of survival. Cutting down trees for wood pellets is NOT an acceptable alternative of energy. Leave the trees in the ground to grow & expand & develop for the future generations.
