The Haudenosaunee Confederacy Council issued a cease-and-desist order two years ago to stop Nestlé from taking the water.

Deny BlueTriton the permit for water extraction. I am a concerned citizen and do not want this new company taking over where Nestle left off in water extraction.

Ontario's water does not belong to corporations like Nestlé or BlueTriton. Stop the pumping and leave this precious resource for those who call Ontario home.

Water - A Nonrenewable Resource. There is an unfortunate history of Nestlé abusing Ontario watersheds and communities by overtaxing an aquifer beyond its sustainable use. Due to public pressure and abuse of permits, they sold their bottled water service to Blue Triton.

Bottled water is a huge driver of plastic waste, this permit should be denied in order to limit the supply of bottled water and drive up it's price. Consumer reliance on cheap bottle water will not stop unless the price is significantly increased.

With rising concerns and scarcity in clean drinking water, a 10 year permit is far too long a timeframe for this company to take water.
Please deny them this permit!
I am NOT in support of giving a permit to take water. Water is one of, if not the, most precious resources we have. It will become more and more precious as time goes on and water scarcity starts to affect even us here, surrounded by the Great Lakes.
