I am writing as a follow-up to our conversation on July 11, 2017 and on behalf of our client, Activa Holdings Inc.
Our client has asked that we review the draft Agricultural Land Base Map as it relates to its lands located in the City of Kitchener, Regional Municipality of Waterloo.
why would you have David Crombie chair this project as i cannot ever percieve that a former citified mayor could even begin to maintain a true agricultural land use line of thinking for th better of anywhere much less the golden horseshoe!

1.On pg.22 of the Draft Implementation Procedure document, last sentence, it is stated that the greater the extent of the natural heritage features and areas in an area, the lower the LEAR score, and the less likely the area would be to be identified as a prime agricultural area.
a)The area west of the Nottawasaga River and north of County Road 90 is subject to an OMB Appeal which may result in a Settlement Area Boundary expansion;
b)The area bounded by the eastern boundary of the Angus Settlement Area, Bear Creek, County Road
The web based portal inaccurately depicts "Agriculturally" designated lands within the County of Peterborough. Through discussions with OMAFRA staff (Arthur Churchyard) we were advised that the mapping for Peterborough County depicted what was in the County OP.
York Region's comments have been directly emailed to Helma Geerts, Policy Advisor Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs because the EBR site does not allow for the uploading of documents as an organization's formal comments.
We are retained as the planning consultants for 1800615 Ontario Inc. and Avatar International with respect to their lands located at the northwest corner of Barton Street and Fifty Road (the ‘subject lands’) in the City of Hamilton.
