Climate change is Real and the time to act is Now! We need strong legally binding targets to reduce our emissions. Cap and Trade was already reducing our emissions and should not be cancelled . The government needs to take their responsibility to consult with the public seriously!

I would like to see Ontario have a climate plan that would include a price on pollution and carbon, targets for reduced carbon emissions, a move towards clean energy for the province including suppprt for electric vehicles and public transportation and no subsidies for fossil fuel industries. It only makes sense that people who create pollution also be responsible for cleaning it up. Cap and trade does this, making companies pay for their own emissions, and making it a key factor to try and limit harmful effects of their own processes. Read more
