I believe cap and trade for CO2 emissions is an effective, evidence based method for reducing emissions. Larger companies that can afford to emit, do. Smaller companies capable of scaling back emissions with accessible, efficient technology at a non-prohibitive cost, do. Read more

Global temperature WILL increase by 1.5C as early as 2030. We know that change will mean major catastrophic changes. We are already seeing the effects. If we want any chance to beat that, we MUST act now, and act decisively. So what would that look like? Read more

REPEAL the Low-carbon Economy Act???? With the climate as it is, do you really think this is a good idea? As someone in a position of leadership, please think carefully about your actions. No matter how much money you have, it's useless if the climate goes whoops and we all perish.

I am deeply disappointed by this government's efforts to undo climate change mitigation progress in Ontario. In particular, I am concerned about the effort to repeal carbon pricing and eliminate all provincial climate targets without having a proposal to replace them. Read more
