Do NOT repeal this Act or cancel the cap and trade program. Climate change is real and it’s happening. We did not have summers like this past one 20 years ago. 30c used to be a hot day, and this year, I can’t even count how many 40c days we had. Read more

The cancellation of the cap & trade program was a step backwards for Ontario. In 2018 we know that pollution is not free. Residents pay to have garbage removed from their houses through their taxes. Business owners pay to have garbage removed from their businesses. Read more

The public no longer enjoys faith in our elected officials. Because of this, the idea of a ‘promise’ to bring forward a better plan at some undisclosed date simply does not make sense. If the current provincial government has a better idea, let’s hear it. Read more

I urge you to support Ontario’s current science-based pollution reduction targets. Those targets set the province on track to be nearly carbon neutral by mid-century, which is what is required if we hope to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees, as agreed to by 195 countries in Paris. Read more
