If we don't take action to protect our planet, it won't matter how good or bad our economy is because we won't be able to live on and sustain our world.
I believe that the decision to end Ontario's participation in the Cap and Trade program is not within the long-term interest of the residents of Ontario. It is a short-sighted decision, that seems to be based more on political gain and showmanship, than actual facts.

We need effective policies to address climate change in Ontario urgently. Our very survival is at risk. I will be watching to see what this government does to address these issues, as this is a top priority of mine. Thank you.
Climate change needs to be addressed. It would not be prudent to get rid of one program before having a replacement program in place that the public could comment on.
Please do not put this dangerous and backwards Cancellation Act into motion. The CCMLEA is necessary if we want to have a sustainable future for our children and grandchildren.

The recent debate surrounding the announced cancellation of the Cap-and-Trade program is alarming, with decision made in blatant disregard to the enormous cost of ending such a program.
The great cost of cancelling the program will be felt worst by the Ontario taxpayer.

This repealing of the green energy act is another stalling tactic so that no real progress is made and businesses do not have to be accountable. Always tomorrow. It is already too late and the degeneration of the climate is escalating.
There is no way that you can continue to ignore our climate emergency. Bill 4 does not address this crisis. Please for the sake of our children and grandchildren work closer with the Green Party who are so much more informed.
