I believe that the decision to end Ontario's participation in the Cap and Trade program is not within the long-term interest of the residents of Ontario. It is a short-sighted decision, that seems to be based more on political gain and showmanship, than actual facts. Read more

Stop taking us back to the 1950's....we need Cap and Trade and we need the costs of polluting to be raised. In light of the IPCC report a few days ago we have no time to lose. I can't even believe we are talking about this. Bold action, beyond anything that was in place before is required. Read more

How has FordNation reacted to the landmark report by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released on Monday? How about the recent  nobel prize that went to a smart fellow that proved a price on carbon is the best and fairest way to reduce carbon? Read more

The recent debate surrounding the announced cancellation of the Cap-and-Trade program is alarming, with decision made in blatant disregard to the enormous cost of ending such a program. The great cost of cancelling the program will be felt worst by the Ontario taxpayer. Read more
