Hello Mr. Ford, Please don’t be so short sighted as to think that climate change will not affect you. You are young enough and I’m sure will be made miserable. I want a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, help people save energy and create jobs in the $26 trillion clean economy. Read more

This bill is unfortunate. This leaves Ontario with no climate change plan whatsoever. Climate change is real and by taking no action, you are "mortgaging the future" of our children and grandchildren. Financial debt can be overcome, environmental debt may never be. Read more

I am very concerned that the Government is cancelling Cap and Trade without any plan to reduce greenhouse gases or address climate change. Cap and Trade and carbon taxes are market based tools to address the issue of CO2 pollution. They are conservative ways of dealing with a serious problem. Read more

I want Ontario to redirect what goes into the fossil fuel industry into renewable energy. It is not an option if we want humanity to have a future. I don't want to have children unless I know that we are moving forward toward solving global warming problems.

Surely, by now, you must be aware of the disasters climate change is bringing - from ice storms, and flash floods, and wildfires to ocean acidification and more - and action must be taken to mitigate it. Bill 4 undoes progress we are making. Read more

I want Ontario to put a price on pollution, making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint. Also I’d like to see Ontario become powered 100% with clean energy by 2050. I think we can do it.

In regard to the Ontario PC government's move to pass Bill C4 I must register my serious objections as Canada is a signatory to the Paris Climate Change Accord and I as a Canadian citizen and resident of Ontario demand strong action on climate change and reduction of green house gas emissions. The direction you're going is wrong headed. The Paris Climate Agreement matters and Ontario could be a leader in creating jobs in a clean economy. I had hoped Ontario would be powered by clean energy by 2050. Now I'm just sad for my kids and their kids.
