It is naive to believe that Ontario can go forward for very long without a carbon pollution tax of some kind. Even if the Canadian government were to not impose one, it is likely that other economies will eventually penalize trade with Ontario for the lack of such. Read more

In my opinion this matter is THE most important for our province, country, and globe. At the VERY LEAST we need to stick with the Paris accord--and make it legally binding. We know that the only way to stop polluters, or encourage them to reduce emissions, is to make them pay. Read more

There was a climate change policy in place, now there is not. Climate change is a real, ongoing, andperment phenomenon that must be addressed proactively, not reactively. Ontario needs a legally binding climate change policy in line with the Paris climate agreement. Read more

I would like to register my dismay at the elimination of the cap and trade policy by the current government. I believe that climate change is the biggest challenge humanity faces, now and unfortunately for our grandchildren, in the future. Read more
