This is legislation that should not be passed. First and foremost we have regulations to protect our sensitive lands from development. The resulting effects following the introduction of this bill will decimate the value on due process and regulations from developers. Read more

Bill 108 is reduce fund to city of Brampton in things like parkland, libraries to supply more affordable housing. I believe it will end up increasing tax for a common man in Brampton. Read more

The proposed legislative changes, including reduced decision timelines, restrictions on community benefits charges, adding a layer of administrative bureaucracy and increasing ministerial jurisdiction over municipal planning affairs would benefit developers to the detriment of Ontario communities.
