I live close to this property. I have a private residential drilled well of 101 feet . The water level is at approx. 67 feet. The owner is proposing to excavate 65 feet of sand / gravel from the site. The water table height can vary season to season and year to year . Read more

I object to this proposed Hallman pit. This is an area of groundwater protection where perturbations to the geological system have the very real potential to interfere with the potable water. There are enough problems in this area already! Read more

I have watched the expansion of a gravel pit west of Kitchener since 2005. I am amazed by what it is doing to the environs and am very sorry for the adjacent home owners. I am also constantly bothered by the trucks coming and going as I pass the site. Read more
