I firmly reject the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel to the wild animals who are subjected to various methods used to train dogs to hunt. Read more

Are these people out of their minds? That's absolutely disgusting. We have robots that can blink, but we don't have better dog training solutions? I don't buy it. Just horrendous. I've got to get out of this rolling dumpster fire of a province.

I strongly reject this proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of license, this is cruel to wild animals who should stay in their natural environment and instead the existing facilities should be closed.

I can't believe this is even something that needs to be stated, but animals are alive and have a right to live a fair life. How can we capture them and torture them and think that's ok? What year is it?

Do not expand the practice of torturing animals for sport. It is an unnecessary method of "training" that brings next to no value to the world and treats wild animals as playthings to be trapped, abducted, and abused at the pleasure of hunters. Read more

I reject the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. This is barbaric. Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel. In 2023 we can do better. This is a step back.

Please have the decency to oppose the torture of these animals. It's bad enough that you ignore the well being of humans, but it is horrifying that you could accept the torture of animals in the name of "training". You don't need to torture to train a dog. Read more

This is an incredibly cruel and inhumane practice - not much different than bull baiting and dog fighting. I seriously hope the government does not allow this barbaric practice of confining an animal with a huge disadvantage to be terrified, tortured and slaughtered. Read more

Absolutely not needed and truly horrific anyone would want to train anything this level of violence. In our modern society we can find a more humane practice if a species becomes evasive. No to this bill

This barbaric practice is not surprising coming from a government willing to allow its own citizens to suffer and die in LTC facilities, in hospitals or at home, incapable of receiving care. These practices have no place in Ontario. Shame on Doug Ford and the Conservatives. You are disgusting!
