This is one of the most disgusting things I’ve heard coming out of this government. It’s cruel and barbaric. This cannot go ahead. I cannot even wrap my head around the fact that it’s being proposed.

I object to this practice. There is no place for this kind of cruelty in our beautiful country. Wildlife should be treated with respect and care. I'd ask for all existing locations to be closed. This is shameful.

I wholeheartedly reject the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. This is barbaric, cruel and wholly unnecessary and ill conceived!

I firmly reject the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel to the wild animals that are subjected to various methods used to train dogs to hunt. Read more

I strongly oppose the proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for penned dog hunting areas in Ontario. The cruel and inhumane treatment of wild animals in these facilities for the sake of training dogs to hunt is unacceptable. Read more

This is one of the most abhorrent things I have ever read. What kinds of people are proposing such a vile idea? Holding wild animals captive and using them as bait? Are you all out of your minds? Please seek therapy for your sick, twisted and cruel mindset. We are not barbarians in this country. Read more

I don’t see any positives in this proposal. These dog-training facilities were intended to be phased out over time, and so they should be. Fox hunts are an absurd blood sport that should, like cock fighting, go extinct. Read more

This proposal is absolutely barbaric. Why is this even a thing? It's not training, it's canned hunting. Ontarians know that the Ford government will push this through regardless of what constituents say, but we'll force it's reversal once Ford is out of power.
