You said that you wouldn’t do this. You said you would listen to the people. Start doing your job and get hospitals the help they need, teachers and support staff the funding they need, and stop trying to get your rich friends more rich. Leave the green belt alone and focus on what matters. Read more

Development in this area would be more detrimental to the environment and surrounding communities than any benefit it would gain. It would not be increasing any revenue for our economy but it would be increasing the number of expenses the province would have to endure.

I completely disagree with this proposal and believe there are other more effective solutions to the housing crisis. The Greenbelt is conserved to ensure the ecological health of the region. It’s an area of cultural heritage and encourages recreation for human health. Read more

Please do not go through with this! We are living in a housing crisis yes, but this coveted land will not benefit those in most precarious housing situations. Not to mention the negative environmental impact it will have as a result of development. Read more

Trying to pass this is deplorable. Ontario residents do not support this and you need to keep your promises. Our greenbelts need to be protected and what you are proposing goes completely against our values. Those areas need to STAY protected. Go build your mansions somewhere else.
